The international health insurance companies that Global Albatross works with are licensed and registered in other countries and are bound to the laws and regulations of those countries. All insurers provide disputes resolution schemes. Any complaints about an insurer need to be submitted through the resolution services in the country in which they are registered. In the unlikely event that a complaint needs to be submitted to an insurer, Global Albatross will assist.

Global Albatross is also a participant of the Insurance & Financial Savings Ombudsman Scheme, membership number 2001680.
If we choose to correspond via telephone or email we have the right to record conversations for quality assurance reasons, training purposes and the prevention of fraud. Commitment to these communication methods represents consent on your part to any such recordings.
Global Albatross remuneration
Global Albatross is remunerated for its services by the receipt of commission paid by health and travel insurers. Your agreement to proceed with health or travel insurance through us shall constitute your consent to the receipt of commission by the company.
Where an individual or company engages Global Albatross’s services or gains advice without proceeding with a policy purchase, we reserve the right to apply a fee for the services and specialist advice rendered. Fees will consist of adviser time and any disbursements, such as international calling charges, incurred by the company. Any unpaid invoices will incur default interest charges at the rate equal to 5% per annum above the BNZ Bank commercial overdraft rate and also incur debt collection costs.
Availability and accuracy
Global Albatross does not guarantee defects to be remedied or a virus-free website if technical matters interrupt or cause errors in attempts to access this website. Confirmation of health insurance
The information on products and services offered on this website are not comprehensive descriptions of the final terms and conditions or precise cover provided by those products and services. Before international health insurance cover can be processed or confirmed it is necessary for you to fully and faithfully inform us of everything you know, or could reasonably be expected to know that will be relevant while requesting a health or travel insurance policy.
Purchase and payment
When you request a health insurance quote via this website it will be provided to you electronically. If you choose to accept the quote and the relevant terms and conditions, and complete every required field in regards to your details, you are permitted to request your desired product. Based on the information provided by you, your request will then be accepted or rejected. Should a health insurance and/or travel insurance application be accepted and successful, a binding insurance agreement will be created for you. A binding insurance agreement will only be presented after a successful charge against the credit card used in the transaction and the reception of payment by the insurer.
Applicable laws and jurisdiction
We have a strict policy against spamming. Spam is an unsolicited email, or UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email). We forbid the sending of mass emails or unsolicited emails of any kind. No message filtering system is 100% accurate and from time to time, legitimate messages will be filtered-out.
