This year, the privilege was ours to be a member of the judging panel for the 2021 Global Health and Protection Awards and deciding the overall winners of the provider categories. We dedicated many hours to assessing, discussing, and determining the deserving winners, made all the more difficult due to the high calibre of submissions which highlighted the professionalism, capability, and highly skilled personnel within the industry.
Winners were decided by a two-stage judging process. The panel of 15 judges was convened and superbly facilitated over zoom by the Health and Protection Awards team and comprised of regulatory authorities, industry commentators, business leaders, and protection consultants identified for their specialist experience, objectivity, and expertise.
The awards recognise excellence in professional service standards and innovation in the industry.
The Hilton Bankside in London is the location for the awards, with Dara Ó Briain the celebrity host.
Given Covid, and the fact that we would need to book into a managed isolation facility on return, for which we could not be guaranteed a spot, we have been unable to travel to the event this year to congratulate the deserving talent but know from experience they will be celebrated well on the night.
